Suzanne Thompson

Suzanne Thompson departed this life on Monday, February 8, 2016 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, in Florence, Alabama at the age of 38 Years, 8 Months, 23 Days. She was born May 16, 1977 in Florence, AL the daughter of Jeanine Haddock of Collinwood, TN and the late Jerry Thompson.
In addition to her father, Suzanne was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Michelle Thompson; grandparents; Mary Emily and Cellie Haddock; Hershell and Violet Thompson, aunts; Sarah Francis Barnett, Ella Mae Kelley, Glenda Faye Haddock; uncles; Landon Haddock, Hershell Haddock and Floy Haddock

Suzanne was a tax preparer for 20 years. She was a member of the Millrock Freewill Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her son.

She is survived by other than her mother; a son, Preston Daniel of Florence, AL; sister, Leanne (Thompson) Rumbaugh and husband Adam of Columbia, TN; uncles; Roy Haddock of Bell Buckle, TN; Newton Haddock, DeWayne Haddock, Paul Haddock , Charlie Haddock and Ronald Haddock all of Collinwood, TN nephews; Caleb Thompson of Shelbyville, TN; Alex Rumbaugh of Columbia, TN; niece; Leandra Rumbaugh of Columbia, TN , boy friend; Troy Rich of Iron City, TN.

Services will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Tim Hanback officiating. Burial follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
