Susan Dianne Stults

Susan Dianne Smith Stults of Florence, AL was born April 11, 1963 in Florence, AL, the daughter of Betty LaVerne Hodges Smith of Florence, AL, who survives and the late William Lawson Smith.

She was united in marriage to Tracy Stults on May 11, 1979. Susan was a disabled secretary with a AmeriGas and was a member of the State Line Church, Iron City, Tennessee.

She departed this life on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at her home at the age of 55 Years, 2 Months, 6 Days.

Other than her mother, she is survived by her husband, Tracy Stults; sons, Josh Stults (Jessica) and Wesley Stults (Hannah); grandson, Austin; God grandson, Ryan Benderman; sisters, Faye Davis and husband, Steve and Nancy Reed all of Florence, AL.

In addition to her father, Susan was preceded in death by a brother, William R. (Bobby) Smith; sisters, Elizabeth A. Burns and Lois Jean Wilson and a nephew, Christopher Franklin.

Services will be Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Keith Montgomery and Randy Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Barry Hanback, Danny Lard, Joe Warren, Jerry Risner, Dwight Andrews and Steve Davis. Greg Stults will be a honorary pallbearer.
