Susan Claire Smith Stack, 49, of Toone, died Sunday morning, December 17, 2006 at Methodist Hospital in Germantown.
The daughter of Mayor A. E. and Nancy Smith of Toone, where she lived all her life, she was a 1975 graduate of Bolivar Central High School, received her Bachelors degree at Union University in Elementary Education and her Masters degree at the University of Memphis in Curriculum and Instruction. She and her husband Curtis were married June 30, 1984. A very active member of Toone Baptist Church, she was involved in the Team Kids Ministry, a former Sunday School teacher, choir member, and various other committees. She taught 7th and 8th grade math for 20 years at Bolivar Middle School.
Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Stack is survived by her daughter Lindsey and son Jordan, and her sister and brother-in-law Karen and John Lambert, all of Toone.
