Susan Smith

Susan Smithwas born in Davidson County, TN on August 10, 1952 the daughter of Catherine Mae Gleaves Simpson and the late William Edward Simpson.On July 30, 1977, she was united in marriage to Stephen Douglas Smith, who survives.Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of the Savannah church of Christ. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, painting, making jewelry, crafts, and flower arranging. She also enjoyed doing other peoples fingernails.Mrs. Smith departed this life on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the age of 55 years, 11 months, 21 days.In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Smith is survived by 2 daughters: Stephanie Irene Smith Linenfelser and her husband Brian of LaVergne, Tennessee and Amanda Lane Smith of Oceanside, California; 3 grandchildren: Kaleb Smith,Ayden Smith, and Isabella Smith.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother: Larry Simpson.
