Sue Carolyn Taylor

Mrs. Sue Carolyn Taylor, age 76 of Memphis, departed this life Sunday evening, August 10, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital on Park Avenue in Memphis.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Silerton, Tennessee November 21, 1937 to the late James Everet and Louise Nicholson Ivy. She grew up in Hornsby but lived in Memphis for most of her adult life where she managed a grocery store with her husband, Troy Lewis Taylor, who passed away September 16, 2006. She enjoyed watching baseball and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Cooper and husband Mike of Hernando, Mississippi; sons, Michael Taylor and wife Sandra of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Robert Taylor of Memphis, Timothy Taylor and wife Courtney of Collierville, and Joseph Taylor of Memphis; three sisters, two brothers, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Donations made in memory of Mrs. Taylor may be sent to the Memphis Humane Society.
