Henderson, TN: Joy Sue Pitts Newcomb, age 72, passed away May 13, 2010 at Forest Cove Nursing Center.
She was born and reared in Chester County, the daughter of the late Gilbert Pitts and Artie Edna Hopper Lampley. She attended Chester County Schools. She had worked at MKD at Enville and Cap III. She married Jimmy Newcomb in 1989. They made their home in Henderson and on Sanford Street for the past 9 years.
She is survived by her husband Jimmy Dale Newcomb and a son, Raymond Donald Pusser of Lawrenceburg, TN and two daughters, Sandra Coleman of North Platt, Nebraska and Tonya Newcomb of Henderson; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Jessie Gilliam of Enville and a sister, Bertie Conor of Saltillo.
