Sue Neill Davis

Sue Neill Davis departed this life on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at the age of 81 years and 1 day. She was born in the Burnt Church Community of Hardin County, Tennessee on July 27, 1935, the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland (G.C.) and Bessie Mae Robinson Neill. On February 3, 1961, she was united in marriage to Lee Davis, Jr. , who preceded her in death on May 15, 2013.

Sue was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She was a prayer warrior. She loved her family, her friends, her pastor and her church. Sue was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Timothy Lee Davis and his wife, Sheron and John Neill Davis and his wife, Shanna all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brandi Weeks, Amber Davis, Adam Davis, Brandon Davis, Dusty Davis, Lindsay Davis Hollins and her husband, Justin Hollins, and Kelli Davis; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Hollins and Dax Davis; a sister, Mable Neill Andrews; and brothers, Mancil Neill and Max L. Neill.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Jewel Neill Franks and Irene Neill Livengood; her brothers, Raymond Neill and Wallace Neill.
