Stoney Wayne Hunt

Stoney Wayne Hunt was born August 24, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Willard Hunt of Waynesboro and the late Clarice Adams Hunt. Stoney departed this life on Monday, January 26, 2009 at his home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 51 Years, 5 Months, 2 Days. In addition to his mother, Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Earl Rowan and Daniel Eugene Rowan. He was a roofer and of the Baptist faith.Other than his father he is survived by two daughters, Rachael Hunt and Sarah Hunt; grandson, Carter Andrew Kavalar all of Commerce Township, Michigan; stepmother, Jenny Lou Hunt; stepsister, Sherry Wilson both of Waynesboro; stepsons, Josh Sacker of Wichita Falls, Texas and Jake Sacker of Commerce Township, Michigan; step-grandsons, Ryland Aaron Sacker and Collin Aaron Sacker both of Wichita Falls, Texas; three sisters, Donna Morton, Tami Skelton, and Barbara Mayberry all of Waynesboro several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews

Services will be Friday, January 30, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Jerry Robbins and Hannah Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of arrangements.
