Stevie Douglas Talley

Stevie Douglas Talley, age 53, was born February 21, 1957 in Savannah, Tennessee the son of the late Arch and Sue Bachuss Talley. In addition to his parents, Mr. Talley was preceded in death by a brother, Arch Talley Jr. and sister, Rebecca Sue Talley. Mr. Talley died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at his home in the Houston community. He was married to Lois Bratcher January 29, 1980. Mr. Talley, a disabled carpenter and sawmill worker, was a member of Mt. Calvary Full Gospel Church.



He is survived by his wife Lois Bratcher Talley of Collinwood, TN;

three daughters, Stephanie Staggs and husband Steven of Clifton, TN, Jessica Clark of Waynesboro, TN, and Laura Bratcher and companion Steve Scott of Savannah, TN; twelve grandchildren, Triston and Shalayna Bratcher, Ethan Moore, Ryan and Grant Scott, Kyle, Myles, and Toby Staggs,

Dakota and Zachary Lowe, Kolby Crum, and Sarah Grace Conner;

three brothers, Ander Talley and Tommy Talley both of Adamsville, TN, Dewayne Talley of Savannah, TN; two sisters, Lesa Smith of Adamsville, TN, and Joanie Weirich of Gillis Mills, TN;



Pallbearers are Triston Bratcher, Kyle Staggs, Dakota Lowe, Zachary Lowe, Ander Talley, and Tommy Talley



Honorary pallbearers are Roger Weirich and Grant Scott



Services will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Houston Baptist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Jim Middleton officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery,Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
