He is survived by his wife Peggy Ann Chaney Ray; his mother Norma Jean Towater Ray; a son Timothy Ray and wife Paula; a daughter Jo Anne Preslar and husband Michael; 2 grandchildren Hunter and Marshall; two brothers Danny Ray and Larry Ray and two sisters Lucy Gaffney and Doris Stanford.
