Steven Russell Melson of Lawrenceburg, TN was born November 16, 1969 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Aubrey Glynn and Dorene Durham Melson of Lawrenceburg, TN, who survive. Steven was a machinist . He departed this life on Friday, March 5, 2010 at Lakeway Regional Hospital in Morristown, Tennessee at the age of 40 Years, 3 Months, 17 Days.Other than his parents, he is survived by two sons, Kyle Brannon Melson and William Lucas Melson both of Waynesboro, TN; a brother, Bobby Glynn Melson and wife, Leslie of Waynesboro, TN; a sister, Laurie Ann Roper and husband, Jeff of Southside, AL; nieces, Rachel Melson, Hannah and Aubree Roper; nephews, Justin Melson, Chad and Josh Roper; aunts, uncles, and cousins.He was preceded in death by grandparents, William Russell and Golden Melson and Dewey Burdell and Rachel Durham. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 1 pm at the Greenwood Cemetery in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Ray Watkins officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Monday, March 8, 2010 from 8 am to 12 noon at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
