Steven Dewayne Johnson

Steven Dewayne Johnson was born November 25, 1962 in Florence, AL, the son of Alfred RayJohnson of Florence, AL who survives and the late Mildred Elaine Johnson. He was united in marriage to Jonni Rena Pigg on May 4, 1995. Mr. Johnson was a Welder and a member of the Christian Faith Church in Florence, Alabama.

Mr. Johnson departed this life on Thursday, February 18, 2016 in Florence, Alabama at the age of 53 Years, 2 Months, 24 Days.

Other than his father, he is survived by his wife, Jonni Rena Pigg Johnson of Cypress Inn, TN; son, Steven Todd Johnson of Florence, AL and Charles Brian Johnson; a daughter, Stephanie Wilkes of Florence, AL; grandchildren, Destiny and Blake Johnson, Charles Bentley Pigg and B. J. Wilkes; brothers, Alfred Shawn Johnson and Shannon Ray Johnson both of Florence, AL.

A Graveside Service will be Monday, February 22, 2016 at 1 pm at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Florence, AL with Dennis Hanvey officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the gravesite.
