STEVEN LEE HELTON

Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 1, 1953 the son of Lucille Tanner Reeder and the late Elvis Fred Helton.

In September of 2002 he was united in marriage to Esmeralda Jimenez De, who survives.

Steven was a Locomotive Engineer for 23 years. He was a former resident of Destin, Florida, Peru, St. Louis, Missouri and Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Steven loved traveling, going to the beaches, fishing and dancing, especially the Salsa. He was a very sociable person and loved being with his family.

Steven departed this life on September 21, 2019 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 65 years, 9 months and 20 days.

In addition to his wife of 17 years, Esmeralda, he is survived by his children, Rachel Shannon Pullagura, Zach Helton, Samantha Helton and Luke Helton; mother, Lucille Reeder; grandchildren, Sebastian Schlesinger, Caroline Schlesinger, Destiny Helton, Haleigh Cote, Alex Hill and Remi Miles; brother, Rick Helton and his wife Sharlene; sisters, Debbie Copeland, Patricia Wilson and her husband Jim, and Shirley Helton.

Steven was preceded in death by his father Elvis Helton, step dad, Donald Reeder and one brother, Alton Elvis Helton.
