Stephen Jeffrey Williams

Stephen Jeffrey Williams of Summertown, TN was born May 6, 1954 in South Webster, OH, the son of the late Carl E. and Stella Pearl Johnson Shope Williams. He was united in marriage to Glenda Kay Skelton on March 16, 1974. and she preceded him in death on December 14, 2012.

Mr. Williams was a factory worker and departed this life on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 60 Years, 11 Months, 19 Days.

He is survived by sons, James (Jim) Williams and wife, Carolyn of Hohenwald, TN and David Scott Williams and wife, Rebekah of Loretto, TN; a daughter, Tiffany Ann Grace and husband, Kevin of Henryville, TN; grandchildren, Jasmine and Madison Williams; Hateya and Galen Williams and Kandace, Landon and Isaac Grace; a brother, Doug Shope of Davenport, FL.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by brothers, William Edward Shope and Charles Michael Shope; a sister, Joan Arlene Cook.

Services will be Friday, May 1, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Billy Meek, II officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Jessie Skelton, Brandon Skelton, Kevin Grace, Clayton Grace, Nathan Grace and Samuel Cox. Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Grace, Isaac Grace and Galen Williams.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Friday, May 1, 2015 from 1 pm to service time at the funeral home.
