Stella Goodrum

Mrs. Stella Goodrum was born May 7, 1922 in Hardeman County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Joe and Elizabeth Kennedy Kirk.On June 27, 1942 she was united in marriage to C. E. (Gene) Goodrum who preceded her in death.She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.Mrs. Goodrum departed this life on August 30, 2005 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 3 Months, 23 Days.She is survived by five daughters, Betty Stanfield and husband Jerry of Pocahontas, Tennessee, Coy Elam and husband Danny R. of Selmer, Joy Gray and husband John of Selmer, Debbie Pratt and husband Kenny of Selmer, Jackie Prather of Selmer; four sons, Larry Goodrum and wife Barbara, Bo Goodrum, Dennis Goodrum and wife Loretta, and Danny Goodrum all of Selmer; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.Other than her parents and her husband, Mrs. Goodrum was preceded in death by three sisters, Alma Kirk, Maymie Holder, and Lena Young; and four brothers, Winford Kirk, Eura Kirk, Lester Kirk, and John Kirk.
