Stella L. Clay

Stella L. Hopper Clay was born February 13, 1914 in the daughter of the late George and Clara Leona Bond Hopper.She was united in marriage to Jess Clay who preceded her in death on August 27, 1980.Mrs. Clay departed this life on October 7, 2008 in Cordova, Tennessee at the age of 94 Years, 7 Months, 24 Days. She is survived by a special niece Linda Doyle of Southaven, Mississippi; a special nephew, Lowell Hopper of Lexington, Tennessee; a sister-in-law, Maxine Hopper of Decaturville, Tennessee as well as several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Clay was preceded in death by two sisters, Clara Long, Leathie White; six brothers, Reeder Hopper, Clyde Hopper, Grady Hopper, Claude Hopper, Fred Hopper and John Hopper;
