Stan J. Davis

Stan Davis was born September 4, 1954 in Detroit, MI the son of the late Jimmy Clifton Davis and Marlin Marie McGowan.

A devoted husband, he united his life with Teresa Smith on June 22, 1971, building a beautiful life together filled with love and joy. Stan found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was watching his favorite television shows or listening to the radio. Kind-hearted and full of spirit, he once played the guitar in a country band during his younger years, sharing his passion for music with those around him.

Mr. Davis departed this life on on March 23, 2025, in Finger, Tennessee, at the age of 70 years, 6 months, and 19 days. He is deeply missed by his beloved wife, Teresa Davis of Finger, TN; a daughter, Angela Carridine and husband Josh of Finger, TN; three sons, Jim Davis and wife Dara of White, GA, Mike Davis of Acworth, GA, Lexus Cindrick of Finger, TN; a sister, Charlotte Madison and husband Tommy of Acworth, GA; three brothers, Jeff Davis of Woodstock, GA, George Davis and wife Gail of Ft. Worth, TX, Barry Davis of Villa Ricca, GA; 8 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Stan was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Truitt.
