Staff Sgt. Mark Anthony Austin, USAF Ret. was born October 14, 1951 in Henderson County, Tennessee the son of Raynelle Rhodes Austin Pinkston and the late Marville Austin.He was united in marriage to Marlene Neisler .He was the pastor of the Victory Temple Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee for 23 years, retired United States Air Force staff sergeant, and he was wounded and disabled during the Vietnam war.Mr. Austin departed this life on January 12, 2008 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 56 Years, 2 Months, 29 Days. He is survived by his wife Marlene (Neisler) Austin of Bethel Springs, TN; mother, Raynelle Austin Pinkston of Lexington, TN; two daughters, Angela Michael of Jackson, TN, and Jennifer Ross of Finger, TN; a son, Mark Anthony Austin, Jr. of Bethel Springs, TN; four sisters, Brenda Bush of Lexington, TN, Donna Campbell of Scotts Hill, TN, Fonda Buttery of Lexington, TN, and Leanna Newman of Beacon, TN; three brothers, Gerald David Austin, Ronnie Austin, Barney Austin all of Lexington, TN; 6 Grandchildren.In addition to his father, Mr. Austin was preceded in death by a sister, Nina Hayes; and a brother, Arvin Allen Austin.
