Sidney Eugene Pulse

Mr. Sidney Eugene Pulse, age 80 of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday night, June 21, 2016 at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth, Mississippi.

He was born and reared at Middleton, the son of the late Jim Carl Pulse, Sr. and Birdie Mae Dickerson Pulse. On July 25, 1959, he was united in marriage to Billie Rose Martindale, who preceded him in death November 21, 2015.

Mr. Pulse had lived in Memphis since the mid-1950's. He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company where he worked in parts distribution. He served as President and long-time Financial Secretary for the UAW Local #903, was a Shriner, 32nd degree Mason, York and Scottish Rite. He served his country in the US Navy. He enjoyed farming in his leisure time and was a member of the Marlow church of Christ.

Mr. Pulse is survived by a daughter, Cindy Pulse of Walnut, MS; a son, Rodney Pulse (Angie) of Walnut, MS; a sister, Carol Wall of Mayfield, KY; two brothers, Don and Steve Pulse of Middleton; five grandchildren, Whitney Lambert (Chad) of Iuka, MS; Lindsey Huffman (Wyatt) of Walnut, MS; Presley, Jack Pulse and Brooke Pulse of Walnut, MS; three great-grandchildren, Brantley Porterfield Pulse, Camden Lambert, and Eli Lambert; a sister-in-law, Frances Brown (Joe) of Walnut, MS; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Martindale (Wanda) of Walnut, MS.
