Shirley Skelton

Shirley Skelton was born December 15, 1950 in Moscow, TN the daughter of the late Chester and Margaret Yon Skelton.

Shirley loved an adventure, many times she would get in her car and see where she ended up. She enjoyed crocheting, word book, coloring and taking care of her plants. Playing the piano brought her great joy, apple and pecan picking was always a fun time spent with her grandchildren.

Shirley departed this life on February 11, 2023 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 1 Month, 27 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Robin Fowler of Selmer, TN; a son, Scott Fowler of Nevada; six grandchildren, Ashley Fowler, Aspin Atkins, Aleigha Fowler, Alyvia Bennett Gray , Jaycee Fowler, Cody Fowler; five great grandchildren, Braxton Whitten, Harley Whitten, Dalyla Washington, Mia Mettlin, Broody Gray; two sisters, Ann Hill of Selmer, TN, Faye Morris of Selmer, TN; three brothers, Butch Skelton of GA , Chip Skelton of Stantonville, TN, Burke Skelton of Murfreesboro, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Kiestler.
