Shirley Fay White Robinson departed this life on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at the age of 63 years, 4 months, and 23 days. She was born in Savannah, Tennessee on March 3, 1953, the daughter of the late Authur Lee and Lou Helen Higgins White. On August 7, 1972, she was united in marriage to Donald Robinson, who survives.
Shirley lived in the Burnt Church community and was a member of the Sharon Baptist Church. She was a housewife and had previously worked for Savannah Manufacturing as a seamstress. Shirley enjoyed Ginseng hunting, collecting figurines, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Donald Robinson of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Lamanda Taylor of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brad Gattis, Riley Taylor, Brandon Tharp, River Tharp, and Aubrey Taylor; sisters, Patricia Davis, Bonnie Williams, and Debra White all of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Edward White, Eddie Wayne White, and Donnie White all of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tracy Robinson; a daughter, Rhonda Tharp; a grandson, Jacob Tharp; and a brother, William White.
