Shirley Ruth Reaves Holt

Shirley Ruth Reaves Holt, age 78, of Collinwood, TN, passed away on March 25, 2025, at her home, enveloped by the love of her family. She was born on April 19, 1946, in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of the late Edward Allen Lakey and Alice Rozetta Reaves.

Shirley dedicated many years of her life to her role at Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company in Lawrenceburg, TN. Throughout her time there, she embraced various responsibilities, with her heart set on her main role as a line worker.

Shirley will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Connie Ann Holt of Waynesboro, TN, and Brandi Dawn Holt Qualls (Matt) of Columbia, TN; brothers, Jerry Reaves of Collinwood, TN, and Danny Reaves of Waynesboro, TN; sisters, Margaret Ann Haddock of Collinwood, TN, Debbie Murray of Trinity, FL, and Donna Harbin of Collinwood, TN; grandchildren, Kayla Gallaher (Shawn), Lauren Marks (Robert), Rae-Ann Jones, Spencer Qualls, and Weston Qualls; great grandchildren, Mikah (Logan), Charlie (Levi), Evan, Sophie, Braxton, Zaley, Jenson, and Poppy; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her brother, Larry David Reaves; and sisters, Ruby Dean Daniels, and Jennifer Victory.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens of Wayne County in Collinwood, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be Chris Holt, Jeff Reaves, Kash Staggs, Levi Allison, Anthony Dotson, and Shawn Gallaher.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Miller and Paul Hammack.
