Shirley Lovelace

Mrs. Shirley Ann Hollowell Lovelace was born October 24, 1948 in Florence, AL the daughter of the late Ed Hollowell and Virginia Christine Staggs Hollowell Perry. She was married to Joel Lovelace in August of 1965 and remained married until his death on March 15,1995. Mrs. Lovelace worked many years for Chiefs BBQ and Angelica Manufacturing in Wayne County. She enjoyed cooking, working in her flower garden and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Lovelace departed this life at her home in Collinwood on December 18, 2021 in Collinwood, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 1 Month, 24 Days.

She is survived by three daughters, Ashley Lovelace and Deanna Lovelace both of Collinwood, TN, Andrea Caperton and husband David of Westpoint, TN; a brother, Richard Perry and wife Donna of Collinwood, TN; four sisters, Susie Devers and Steve of Collinwood, TN, Jenny Prince and husband Gary of Holladay, TN, Louise Martin and husband Kenneth of Collinwood,TN, Kathy Ayers of Waynesboro, TN; three grandchildren, Austin Caperton, Josie Lovelace and Lexie Lovelace;

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed Hollowell and Virginia Christine Staggs Hollowell Perry, husband Joel Lovelace and her brother Charles Hollowell;

Services will be held on December 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Collinwood in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton and Greg Stults officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery at Iron City, Tennessee.

Visitation will be held on December 21,2021 from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm at the Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

Pallbearers include Austin Caperton, Daniel Devers, Andrew Devers, Brady Devers, Chris Greenhill, Jason Perry and Zach Clemmons

Honorary Pallbearers include Brandon Adams, Steve Devers, Kenneth Martin and Gary Prince.
