Shirley Layton

SHIRLEY LAYTONwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 23, 1946 the daughter of Earline Franks Franklin and the late Robert Ray Franklin.Ms. Layton was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved to read, loved criminology and court TV. Ms. Layton was the most giving and caring person you would ever meet. She departed this life on October 28, 2007 at the NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 61 years, 5 months and 5 days.She is survived by one daughter, Terri Simmons Miller of Lake City, Arkansas6 grandchildren, Jackie, Cheyenne, Madison, Samantha, Zach and Ricky Jr.2 great-grandchildren, Makayla and Briahnaher mother, Earline Franks Franklin of Jonesboro, Arkansasone brother, Matthew Hobbs of St. Louis, Missouri.Ms. Layton was also preceded in death by one brother, Lonnie Ray Franklin
