Shirley Hollingsworth

SHIRLEY HOLLINGSWORTHwas born in McNairy County, Tennessee on June 13, 1940 the daughter of the late Ermon D. and Helen Albertine Matlock.In 1957 she was united in marriage to Charles Durbin, who preceded her in death in 1969. In 1978 she was united in marriage to Edward Hollingsworth, who preceded her in death in 1994.Mrs. Hollingsworth was a convience store clerk. She was a member of the Savannah church of Christ. Mrs. Hollingsworth loved people, especially children and loved to help people.She departed this life on July 25, 2008 at the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 12 days.Mrs. Hollingsworth is survived by 2 daughters, Wanda Pickens and Tina Davis, both of Savannah, Tennesseeone son, Stanley Durbin of Adamsville, Tennessee5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild3 sisters, Shelby Hollin of Savannah, Tennessee, Ann Meeks of Lexington, Tennessee and Jane Cone of Southaven, Mississippi.
