Shirley Butler

Shirley Mae Hopper Butler was born on August 21, 1946 in Jackson, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Leonard Sydney and Vestie Hensley Hopper.

On November 16, 1967, she was united in marriage to Frank Green Butler, Sr., who preceded his wife in death on January 6, 2006.

Shirley worked as a seamstress for Chester Manufacturing in Henderson, Tennessee. She enjoyed crocheting and watching her Lifetime shows.

Shirley Mae Hopper Butler departed this life on March 6, 2025 in Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 78 years, 6 months, and 13 days.

She is survived by her sons, Terry Butler (Amy) of Counce, Tennessee and Frank Butler, Jr. of Leapwood, Tennessee; daughter, Charlotte Sanders and her husband Dustin of Henderson, Tennessee; grandchildren, Harley Danielle Butler, Alan Lane Butler, Frank Butler III, Chasity Butler, Tristen Butler, and Vivian Sanders; and great grandchildren, Bentley Butler and Carter Butler.

In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by 9 siblings.
