Sherry Ann Riley

Services for Sherry Ann Riley, age 66, of Waynesboro will be Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Ron Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Shields Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of arrangements.



She was born November 20, 1943 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Elwood Douglas and Gladys Phoebe Price Hester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Gladys Hawtin; two brothers, Leslie Gerald Hester and Douglas Monroe Hester. Mrs. Riley departed this life Monday, July 5, 2010 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. She had formerly worked at General Motors, Texas Boot, Angelica, and Mueller Gas Products. She was a member of the Church of God and previously a member of Community of Christ Church in Clio, Michigan.



She is survived by her husband Jerry Clyde Riley of Waynesboro, TN; three sons, Timothy Jacob Riley of Waynesboro, TN, James Richard Riley of Lynnville, TN, and Timothy Brian Riley of Bristol, VA; three daughters, Dana Caroline Riley of Waynesboro, TN, Lisa Riley of Cowpen, SC, and Sherry Beeler of Washburn, TN; three brothers, Elwood (Pete) Hester and wife June of Flint, MI, Franklin Hester of Grand Blanc, MI, Jerry Daniel Hester and wife Georgia of Withee, WI; two sisters, Caroline (Sue) Judd and husband Larry of Clio, MI and Velma Buss and husband Charles of Fremont, MI;

nine grandchildren, Ethan Douglas Riley, T.J. Herrell, Amanda Herrell, Nikki Herrell, Phoebe Ann Riley, Harley Riley, Cody Riley, Alex Riley, and Caleb Riley; 3 great grandchildren
