Sherry Lynn Overton Beason Sherry Lynn Overton Beason departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2016 at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 57 Years, 2 Months, 29 Days. She was born October 30, 1958 in Nashville, TN, the daughter of Bobby Gene Overton of Waynesboro, TN who survives and the late Magdaline Dugger Overton.

She was united in marriage to Gordon William Beason on July 15, 1979.

Sherry was a homemaker and member of the Living Waters Church, Globe,
AZ.

,Other than her father, she is survived by her husband, Gordon William Beason of Globe, AZ; daughter, Kimberly Beason Pope and husband, Jeremy and son, Gene Chadwick Beason; grandchildren, Tori and Colton Beason and Jaxon and Jadlyn Pope; brothers, Terry Overton, Eugene Overton and Chris Staggs; sisters, Quinda McLaughlin and Melinda Overton all of Waynesboro, TN and Dana Heffner of Cleveland, OH; step-mother; Charlene Overton of Waynesboro, TN; nieces and nephews.

Services will be Friday, February 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Larry Janes, Michael Edwards and Rick Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylor Cemetery in Overton County, Tennessee at 11 am on Saturday, February 6, 2016 with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Butler, Ethan Butler, Michael Edwards, David Glassburn, Walter Beason and Rudy Whitson.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 6 pm to 8 pm , Friday February 5, 8:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
