Sherman Russell Gilmer

Mr. Gilmer passed away Monday evening at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The husband of Debbie McCommon Gilmer, who survives, he retired after 25 years as a sign painter for the City of Memphis. Mr. Gilmer was born July 25, 1945 in Arkansas to the late Sherman Gilmer and Grace Louise Hartley and lived the last 2 1/2 years in Henderson. He served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam.
In addition to his wife, whom he married March 31, 1989, he is survived by a daughter, Bekah Norwood and husband, Taylor of Henderson; a sister, Jessie Odle of Lehigh, AR; and several nieces and nephews.
