Shelley R Young

Mr. Shelley R Young was born October 2, 1914 in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late James Hardin and Nora Thorne Young.He was united in marriage to Lura Hale on May 1, 1937.Mr. Young was retired from Brown Shoe Company after 24 years and he was a farmer. He was a member of the Christian Assembly Pentecostal Church.Mr. Young departed this life on January 6, 2007 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 3 Months, 4 Days. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lura Hale Young of Adamsville, TN; one son, Larry Young and wife Becky of Adamsville, TN; and one sister, Lauree Brumley of Nashville, TN.In addition to his parents, Mr. Young was preceded in death by one sister and six brothers.
