Shelia Vena Goodson Brown

Shelia Goodson Brown was born October 26, 1942 in Rogersville, TN, the daughter of the late John and Cora Wright Goodson. She was united in marriage to Thomas Brock Brown on May 20, 1988 and he preceded her in death on July 2, 2004. Mrs. Brown was a member of Houston Baptist Church and will be fondly remembered as a dedicated homemaker and departed this life on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN at the age of 79 Years and 29 Days.

She is survived by a son, Caleb Brown and wife, Jessica of Iron City, TN; two daughters, Chelsea Beckham and husband, Steven of Lawrenceburg, TN and Alisha Creecy and husband, Matthew of Waynesboro, TN; a sister, Wanda Santos and husband, Clarence of Newark, OH; a brother, Lowell Goodson and wife, Barbara of Rogersville, TN; six grandchildren, Maddie Brown, Levi Beckham, Chaston Morrow and wife, Sunshine, Chandler Brown, Aimeka Brown and Brock Brown.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by a daughter, Valarie Pope; a son, Nathan Brown and several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County, Waynesboro, TN.

Services will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, TN with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be Chaston Morrow, Chandler Brown, Dakota Beckham, Caine Beckham, Terry Joe Beckham and Dustin Ray.
