Sharon Myers, 41, of Bolivar, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at McNairy County Regional Hospital.
She was a press operator at Duro (formerly known as International Paper) in Jackson for two years. Ms. Myers was born April 17, 1965 in Jackson, Tenn., daughter of Jewell Hill and Shirley Cossar Lowrance and lived here most of her life. She was a member of Bolivar First Baptist Church.
Services are 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Tim Carpenter officiating. Burial is in McCalip’s Chapel Cemetery near Selmer.
She is survived by “her babiesâ€, Nicole Baker and Holly and Robin Myers, all of Bolivar; her mother and step-father, Shirley & Joe Lowrance of Hornsby; her father, Jewel Hill of Bolivar; her paternal grandmother, Mildred Hill of Bolivar; one sister, Katie Hill of Toone; two half-brother, Chris Golden of Hornsby and Brian Hill of Bolivar; two step-sisters, Renee Lowrance of Hornsby and Rebecca Harritt of Biloxi, Miss.; and her former husband, Robert Myers of Bolivar. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Evie and Herman Cossar and her paternal grandfather, Tillmon Hill.
