Shannon David Weeks



was born on September 20, 1932 in Adamsville, Tennessee the son of the late Alfie N. and Mary F. Harris Weeks.



He was united in marriage to Ruby Jewell Finley Weeks, who preceded him in death.



Mr. Weeks was a veteran of the U.S. Army. During his life, he worked as a farmer and was a member of Solitude Freewill Baptist Church of Christ.



He departed this life on December 28, 2005 at Tri-County Convalescent Home in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 73 years, 3 months and 8 days.



Mr. Weeks is survived by 3 sons: David Weeks of Savannah,

Kenny Weeks of Honolulu, Hawaii

and Andy Weeks of Morris Chapel;



10 grandchildren: Tisha Plunk, Cody Weeks, Destiny Weeks, Taylor Weeks, Calvin Weeks, Molly Weeks, Jamie Weeks, Veronica Weeks, Christopher Burrow, and Ashleigh Burrow;



5 brothers: Arvis Weeks of Bethel Springs,

Elvyn Weeks of Adamsville,

Waylon Weeks of Adamsville,

Welbert Weeks of Milan,

Doyle Weeks of Adamsville;



and 3 sisters: Virginia Finley of Leapwood,

Brenda Pickens of Adamsville,

and Freeda Bricker of Adamsville.



In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Rejetta Weeks.
