Sarah Ann Robbins Kelso was born on August 14, 1955, to the late Tennie and Ruth Huskey Robbins of Collinwood, TN. Throughout her life, Ann was known for her unwavering dedication to serving others, notably as a cook at the Wayne County High School. On December 6, 1982, Ann was joined in Matrimony with the late Marvin Ray Kelso Sr.
Ann was a member of the McGlamery Church. During her leisure moments, she relished the simple pleasures of cooking, shopping, and cherishing moments with her beloved family.
Ann is survived by her step-son, Marvin Ray Kelso Jr., step-daughter Jere Anne Kelso, brothers Jerry Robbins (Linda), Bobby Robbins, Larry Robbins (Denise), and David Robbins, as well as sisters Kay Martin (Mike) and Sherry Daniel (John). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Tyler Dixon (Hannah), Bailey Haddock (Nathan), Ryan Brewer, Derek Brewer, Easton Kelso and Bodie Kelso; along with great-grandchildren Maci Ray Brewer, Lane Philips, Treyger Haddock, and Ellie Claire Dixon.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ann reunites with her brother, Randy Robbins, sister-in-law, Kay Robbins and brother-in-law, Jimmy Robertson.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 23rd, from 11:00am until 3:00pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood TN.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 23rd, at 3:00pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood TN with Greg Eaton and Jerry Robbins officiating.
Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens of Collinwood TN.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Ann and Ray Memorial Scholarship fund at Wayne County Bank.
