Sarah Elizabeth McCann

Sarah Elizabeth McCann was born April 12, 1921 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Sard Plunk and Flossie Sheets Plunk.
Elizabeth was united in marriage to A. M. "Pat" McCann on October 12, 1940. Mr. McCann preceded her in death on December 26, 2001.
She worked many years at ITT in Milan, TN and retired from there in 1984. She was a long time resident of Sitka community in Gibson County, TN. She was a member of Moore's Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, sewing, quilting and especially camping with friends and grandchildren.
Elizabeth departed this life on October 2, 2022 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 101 Years, 5 Months, 20 Days.
She is survived by three sons: Sargent A. McCann and wife Cindy, Jerry McCann and wife Shelby, Gary McCann and wife Kathy all of Jackson, TN; 6 Grandchildren; and 6 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. McCann was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford and Arnold Plunk.
