Services for Sarah Frances Lawson Hamsley Risner will be held on Monday, May 25, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood ,Tennessee, with John Hodum officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitten's Crossroads Cemetery , Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing.
Mrs. Risner departed this life on Friday, May 22, 2009 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 57 Years, 3 Months, 3 Days. She was born February 19, 1952 in Lutts, Tennessee, the daughter of the late John and Opal Brewer Lawson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Risner was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Hamsley; brothers, Johnny, Roy, and Ralph Lawson; sister, Judy Hayes
Sarah was a resturant cook .
She is survived by, daughter, Melinda (Hamsley) Haddock, Waynesboro, TN; sons, Billy Hamsley, Clifton, TN, Tim Risner, Florence, AL; grandchildren, Ariel and Brady Haddock and Taylor Risner; sisters, Audrey Ferguson, Collinwood, TN, Marla Cummins, Waynesboro, TN, Linda Geary, Kentucky; Cecelia Putman and Margaret Ferguson both of Alabama , Brenda Lynch and Christine Spence both of Adamsville, TN; nieces and nephews.
