Sandra Lee Simmons

Sandra Lee Simmons was born January 1, 1958 in Florence, AL the daughter of the late Joel Mann Simmons and Kathleen V. Bennett Simmons.

Ms. Simmons was phenomenal lady. She could do anything, from carpentry, to painting, to book keeping, to being a loving and dedicated mother she was amazing! Some of her favorite pastimes were painting, working arts and crafts, and sewing, taking walks in the spring time, and looking for unique rocks. Ms. Simmons loved her Lord and always put her family’s needs before her own and enjoyed helping others.

Miss Simmons departed this life on May 6, 2015 in Finger, Tennessee at the age of 57 Years, 4 Months, 5 Days.

She is survived by a daughter, Leah Gunn of Finger, TN; a son, Jason Mitchell; three grandchildren, Tiana Gonzales, Mitchell Copeland, Lanae Nicole Mitchell; a grt-grandchild, Raelynn Nicole Copeland; and a half-brother, Jeff Simmons.

In addition to her parents, Miss Simmons was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Kirkman; three brothers, Phillip Wayne Simmons, Joel Mann Simmons Jr., and Paul Simmons.
