Sandra Kay Norman, 53, of Middleton, died Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Bolivar.
The wife of James E. Norman, who survives, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Norman was born November 15, 1952 in Arkansas, daughter of the late Robert Swain Elam and Virginia Winningham Elam and lived in the Memphis area for a time and in Tipton County for 8 years prior to moving to Hardeman County. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
Services were 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Middleton chapel with Shane Scott officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery near Middleton.
In addition to her husband, whom she married June 12, 1970, survivors include one daughter, Crystal K. Norman of Maryland; one son, Dennis E. Norman of Cordova; two sisters and two brothers, Virginia Wilkins, Mary Cathey, Dennis S. Elam and Benny Elam, all of Memphis and two half brothers, Donald Armstrong of Memphis and Joe Armstrong of Miss.
