Graveside services for Samuel Sellers Siddle, age 79 of Gower Road in Lawrence County will be 4:30 pm Friday, September 5, 2008 at the Union Hill Cemetery in Leoma, Tennessee with Josh Stults officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at his home Thursday, September 4th from 4:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Friday. He was born August 4, 1929 in Roxton, Texas, the son of the late Walter Lee Siddle and Purnie Caton Siddle. He died Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at his home on Gower Road in Lawerence County. In addition to his parents, Mr. Siddle was preceded in death by his wives, Maxine Siddle and Frances Siddle; daughters, Mary McGee and Laura Weathers; an infant son, Samuel Sellers Siddle, Jr.; brothers, Roland, Paul, Claude, James, and Buck Siddle; and sisters, Orai Anderson, Maude Cox, and Ann Stamper. Mr. Siddle was a veteran of the Korean conflict serving in the U.S. Army. He was a self employed heavy equipment operator.



He is survived by his wife Ruby Siddle of Lawrenceburg, TN

three daughters, Nell O'Kelley and husband Butch of Lewisville, TX, Stephanie Siddle of Hutto, TX, Samantha Rowan and husband Jim of Hutto, TX; two sons, Walter Siddle and wife Danese of Waxahachie, TX, Steven Siddle and wife Mary of Ponder, TX, several grandchildren and many great grandchildren; stepsons; Henry Haberzettle of Corpus Christi, TX, Eugene Ferk and wife Susan of Loretto, TN, Charles Ferk and wife Belinda of Leoma, TN, Jamie Jackson of Waynesboro, TN, Marty Jackson of Waynesboro, TN; step-daughters, Sandy Slater and husband Pat of Loretto, TN, Denise Brookshair and husband Dale of Georgia, Martha Pulley and husband Steve of Waynesboro, TN, Amy Cook and husband Tim of Mobile, AL;

and his constant companion, Little Bit
