Samuel Tee Derryberry

Samuel Tee Derryberry was born June 3, 1914 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Jeremiah Mancel and Claudia Cordelia Prather Derryberry. He was united in marriage to Irene Hurley Derryberry. Mrs. Derryberry preceded him in death on February 24, 2001.Mr. Derryberry was a member of the Antioch Church Of Christ, loved his farm and raising goats, loved his country and served his country for over 20 years as a master sergeant in the United States Air Force, was a prisoner of war during World War II for 40 months.Mr. Derryberry departed this life on May 26, 2007 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 11 Months, 23 Days. He is survived by his niece, Ann Shelton and husband Robert of Clinton, Mississippi; and a host of cousins and friends.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Derryberry was preceded in death by a brother, Lucian M. Derryberry.
