Sammy Ray Webster

Mr. Webster passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.



The husband of Susan Webster, who survives, he was the operator of the Waste Water Treatment Plant for the City of Bolivar. Mr. Webster was born October 8, 1951 in Madison County to the late Sammie Benton Webster and Mary Inez Askew Webster and lived all of his life in Bolivar. He was a member of Dixie Hills Baptist Church, a volunteer fireman for the City of Bolivar and a member of the National Rifle Association.



In addition to his wife, whom he married August 1, 1970, he is survived by a daughter and her husband, Janice Sanders and Terry of Bolivar; a son and his wife, Sammy Ray Webster, Jr. and Rebecca of Bethel Springs; two sisters and their husbands, Peg Farris and Eddie, Carolyn Hannis and W.T., all of Bolivar; six grandchildren, Justin, Kayla and Karlee Sanders, Hayley, Ben and Emma Webster; and his best friend, his pet dog, "Frog".



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his best friend, Bobby Fish.
