Samantha Gail Price was born April 11, 1993 in Florence, Alabama. Samantha was a 11th grade student at Central High School where she was a member of various organizations. She attended Petersville Church of Christ.
Samantha departed this life on Saturday, April 10, 2010 in an automobile accident on County Road 8, Waterloo, Alabama at the age of 16 Years, 11 Months, 30 Days.
She is survived by her parents, Stacy and Lisa Patterson Price of Waterloo, AL; grandmothers, Shirley Price of Florence, AL and Katherine Patterson of Lutts, TN; great-grandmother, Opal Walker of Florence, AL; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and classmates.
She was preceded in death by grandfathers, Waylon Patterson and Larry Price.
Services will be Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will be in the Piney Grove Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Chris Price, Wesley Creasy, Michael Bishop, Donnie Duncan, Derrick Walker, Roman Price. Honorary pallbearers will be Neal Weems, T. J. Creasy, Randy Walker, and Terry Walker.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, April 15, 2010 from noon until service time at the funeral home.
