Sally Griffin departed this life on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the age of 85 years and 18 days. She was born and raised in Wayne County, Tennessee on June 7, 1931, the daughter of the late Newt and Jody Conway Griffin.
Sally had worked the production line for Genesco and Clifton Manufacturing. She enjoyed her pets and working outside in the yard and in her flower beds. Embroidering was her favorite pastime. She was a member of the Clifton Revival Center .
She is survived by her sister, Grace Ricketts of Clifton, Tennessee; nephews, Tony Ricketts and his wife, Teresa of Clifton, Tennessee and their, son Cameron; Kevin Ricketts of Selmer, Tennessee and his daughter, Jordan; niece, Christie Simmons and her husband, Eddie of Clifton, Tennessee and their children, Shannon and Eli.
