Sallie Bishop

Mrs. Bishop passed away Tuesday evening at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.



The widow of H. T. Bishop, she was a retired ward clerk at Western Mental Health Institute. She was born to W. H. and Addie Elizabeth Adams Miller, both of whom preceded her in death, and lived in Bolivar all of her married life. Mrs. Bishop was a 50+ year member and Sunday School Teacher at Parrans Chapel Baptist Church.



Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Sandra and Hubert Garrett of Bolivar, Bonnie and Larry LeGrand of Roaring Gap, NC; three sons and their wives, Wm. H. and Judi Bishop of Bolivar, Larry V. and Shirley Bishop of Southaven, MS and Nathan B. and Bobbie Bishop of Medon; 12 grandchildren, Jimmy and Alan Garrett, Denise Doyle, Cynthia Reynold, Terri Hall, Ray LeGrand, Johnthan, Michael, Phillip, Scott, Amy and Angela Bishop; 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
