Mrs. Wheeler died Friday, Oct. 12 at Baylor Grapevine Hospital in Grapevine, Texas. She was the widow of Robert A. 'Bob' Wheeler who died in 1989 after 40 years of marriage. She was a clerk at Western Mental Health Institute and was the daughter of the late James Wesley Sanders and Freddie Tickle Sanders. She lived all of her life in Hardeman County, moving to Texas 4 1/2 years ago. She was active in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of Bolivar First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her four children, Pat Wheeler of Jackson, Robert Wheeler, Jr. and his wife, Tanya, of Keller, Tex., Jerry Wheeler and his wife, Susan, of Jackson, Mary Henderson and her husband, Bobby, of Bolivar; three sisters, Sue Davis of Hendersonville, Jimmie Keller of Whiteville and Sara James of Chester, Md.; eight grandchildren, Chris Berry,Lance, Joshua, Kyle, Skyler and Madison Wheeler, Casey and Jacob Henderson. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Breeden, Doris Todd and Henrietta Sanders and two brothers, Ivo and Bob Sanders.
