Ruth Virginia Roberts

Ruth Virginia Lambert Roberts, 92, of Bolivar, died Sunday morning, December 3, 2006 at Pleasant View Health Care in Bolivar.
The widow of Pitsser M. Roberts, who died April 12, 1997 after 65 years of marriage, she retired as a production worker at Tennessee Foods. Mrs. Roberts was born January 9, 1914 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Jake and Nora Bass Lambert and lived here all of her life. She was a member of Dixie Hills Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Frances Hampton of Toone and Jeanie Hindman of Corinth, Miss.; three sons, Jerome, James M. and Joey H. Roberts, all of Bolivar; three sisters, Clara Maude Stewart of Nashville, Sybil King and Josie Roberts, both of Illinois; 25 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Irene McLean; one sister, Eula Stewart and her brother, Gaston Lambert.
