Ruth Johnson

RUTH JOHNSONwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on March 24, 1931 the daughter of the late John and Exie Boroughs Grimes.In September of 1947 she was united in marriage to Felix Johnson, who survives.Mrs. Johnson was a retired factory worker from Clifton Manufacturing Company after 33 years. She loved to crochet and quilt.Mrs. Johnson departed this life on May 1, 2009 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 7 days.Other than her husband Felix of Clifton, Tennessee, she is survived by one daughter, Jean Brewer of Waynesboro, Tennessee.3 grandchildren, Jennifer Stanfield, Jamie Brewer and Kyle Brewer6 great-grandchildrenone sister, Johnnie Smith of Crump, Tennessee and one brother, Jay Grimes of Gray Harbour, WashingtonMrs. Johnson was also preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Grimes and one brother, Roy Grimes.
