Ruth Hinton

Ruth Hinton was born November 12, 1931 in Hardin County, Tennessee daughter of the late James Grady Calvin and Esther Rose Wilson Qualls.On August 21, 1947 she was united in marriage to Otis Clarence Hinton.Mrs. Hinton was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was retired from Brown Shoe Company, She was a member of the Hardin County Democrat Women, President of the Union for Brown Shoe Company, She was also a Member of Retired Ladies Club of Brown Shoe Company.Mrs. Hinton departed this life May 17, 2007 at her home the age of 75 years, 6 months, and 5 days. She leaves her husband Otis Clarence Hinton of Savannah, Tennessee; Four daughters: Rose Harmon, Sandra Scott, Debbie Brock, and Janie Milender all of Savannah, Tennessee. Two sons: Calvin and Michael Lee Hinton both of Savannah, Tennesse.12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.Two sisters: Robbie Glover - Savannah, Tennessee and Maxine Alexander - Jackson, Tennessee. Two brothers: G. C. Qualls - Savannah, Tennessee and Ray Qualls - Iuka, Mississippi.She also leaves numerous Nieces and Nephews.She was preceded in death by a sister - Dorothy Thacker.
