Russell Smith

He was born in Carroll County, the son of Francis Miller Franklin and the late Wilmer Smith. He went to school in Chicago, IL and returned to Carroll County in 1963. He was married to Jancie Kirby in 1964. They moved to Finger, TN in 2000. He was a member of the Finger Church of Christ. Mr. Smith was a desiel mechanic and truck driver most of his life. He was a trailer repairman for Jackson Trailer.



He is survived by his wife Janice Smith of Finger; three daughters, Teresa Sharp (Mark) of Trimble, TN, Starla Heathcock (Scott) and Tina Klinck (Philip) all of Finger; 2 sons Kenneth Smith (Angela) of Beech Bluff and Rodney Smith of Nashville; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; Mother, Francis Franklin of Concord, TN; a sister Betty Wilson of Huntingdon, TN and two brothers Richard Smith and Billy Smith both of Concord, TN.
