RUFUS (JUNIOR) THOMAS
Was born in Lafayette, Tennessee on October 19, 1944 the son of the late Rufus J. Thomas, Sr. and Malinda Woods Thomas.
On September 5, 1975 he was united in marriage to the former Rebecca Ann Cross, who survives.
Mr. Thomas was a sawyer for Clayton Homes of Savannah for 3 years. He also had worked for Gallatin Aluminum Products for 35 years. Mr. Thomas was a member of Living Waters Foursquare Church. He loved people and he loved the Lord with all his heart. Mr. Thomas was a great husband and grandfather.
He departed this life on February 27, 2007 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 8 days.
Other than his wife Rebecca of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Kim Kelm of Savannah, Tennessee.
3 sons, David Thomas of Lafayette, Tennessee, Danny Thomas of Lafayette, Tennessee and Clayton Thomas of Savannah, Tennessee.
10 grandchildren, Jenni Thomas, Kayla Thomas, Sarah Thomas, Katie Thomas, Samuel Thomas, Hillary Seltzer, Carol Williams, Lilli Williams, Caleb Thomas and Cade Thomas.
3 step-grandchildren, Sasha Kelm, Darren Kelm and Troy Mass
